Following the successful pilot of our innovative Picture-Based Bookkeeping Booklet across the Northern, Upper East and Bono Regions, EISD is excited to announce the upcoming launch and wider distribution of the Picture-Based Business Record-Keeping Booklet and its Braille version for atypical grassroots entrepreneurs.

Developed to support entrepreneurs with limited literacy skills and persons with visual impairment, these booklets use pictures, symbols, color coding, tactile formats and simplified visual systems to make business record-keeping more accessible, inclusive and practical.

The booklets contain essential business records including the cashbook, sales book, purchase book and stock book, enabling grassroots entrepreneurs to improve financial management, accountability and business growth.

This milestone reflects our commitment to inclusivity, equitable economic participation and empowering underserved entrepreneurs with tools tailored to their realities.
